In ?, Jean Simmons performed A.R. Gurney's play Love Letters opposite Charlton Heston in Los Angeles.

Jean Simmons starred in the US national tour and in the London premiere production of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music.

The London production opened on April 15, 1975 at the Adelphi Theatre.
